FAQ's
What is Progressive Fitness & Nature Moves?
It’s a guided training approach that blends strength, mobility, and functional conditioning with outdoor movement practices. The goal isn’t just building muscle—it’s about restoring the body’s natural rhythm, reconnecting with nature, and developing fitness that lasts.
How is this different from a regular gym workout?
Most workouts isolate muscles or chase fatigue. Progressive Fitness & Nature Moves focuses on whole-body movement, nervous system balance, and adaptability. Sessions are always outdoors, using natural terrain, fresh air, and barefoot connection with the earth to build strength and resilience. No Mirrors. No Ego. No Wifi.
Do I need to be super fit before starting?
No. All movements are scalable. Whether you’re a beginner or an athlete, the progression system ensures you train at the right intensity for your body, while still moving toward more advanced patterns.
What will I experience?
A natural detox effect as movement stimulates lymphatic drainage and circulation
Improved fluid flow and mobility, helping your body feel lighter and more open
Training barefoot outdoors in the elements—sunlight, ocean breeze, open ground
Connection with like-minded individuals, building community through movement
Greater balance, hand–eye coordination, and quicker reflexes
The ability to move with rhythm and flow, not just strength and force
A deep reset that leaves you calmer, clearer, and more energized after each session
How long before I notice changes?
My goal for each session is that you walk away…moving & feeling better than what you did when you walked in. Most people feel lighter, calmer, and more coordinated after the first few sessions. Strength, mobility, and flow improvements become noticeable within 4–6 weeks if you commit consistently.
Where are sessions held?
All sessions are outdoors on the Sunshine Coast, barefoot and connected to the natural elements of sun, ocean breeze, and open sky.
Bokarina, Buddina & Birtinya
We train on bare earth, in natural light, with the ocean close by. Nature itself is the training ground.
What if the weather turns bad?
Here on the Sunshine Coast we’re blessed with great weather 99% of the time—but sometimes nature has other plans. If conditions are inclement, we simply wait until it clears. In the meantime, participants have direct access to Fibona-Qi Breathing resources and coaching as part of the Foundational Membership ($27/month). That way you’re always supported, even if the skies don’t cooperate.
How does payment work
Your 1st Class is an Introductory Offer – FREE
You only pay for the sessions you attend, unless you purchase a package. Packages come with expiry limits, but if a scheduled session is cancelled due to bad weather, your package will be adjusted accordingly so you don’t lose out.
Payments can be made online, via EFTPOS, or with cash on the day—whichever works best for you.
If you are progressive in the outlook of today’s currency exchange, I also accept silver. Inform me if you’d like to transact in this manner. At Progressive Fitness, we are also open to swapping services….simply ask.
What should I bring to a session?
Sessions are barefoot in nature, but you’re welcome to bring a yoga mat or towel for comfort. A water bottle and hat are useful. I provide everything else you’ll need.
What if I have injuries or limitations?
The approach is adaptable. Movement regressions and alternative patterns are built in, so you can still train safely while honoring your body’s limits.
Do I have to be aged 50+ to attend?
No…it’s just a guideline, anyone who feels this type of movement is what they need, then you are welcome to attend, everyone can and will benefit from these classes.
